Mel /Akal Sanpreet is a level 1 Kundalini Teacher (RYT-220). She completed her teacher training in Australia under the guidance of lead teachers GuruJivan, Balwant and Siri Bhagvati.
She was drawn to Kundalini Yoga eight years ago and noticed a powerful shift in her physical being and a stillness which improved her health and wellbeing. She is drawn to the use of mantra and meditation used within Kundalini Yoga as it develops the neutral mind increasing calmness and inner peace through regular practice.
Prior to teaching Kundalini Yoga, Mel taught secondary Art & Media in Melbourne and the Middle East. She also enjoys to practice other forms of heart centred yoga such as Yin, Kirtan and Yoga Nidra.
