Nicole Critelli TEACHER TRAINER

Nicole started her yoga journey in 2000 and completed Bikram Yoga training in 2003 at the Yoga College of India in Los Angeles CA. Since then her passion has been bringing yoga to people who need it the most. She has taught at risk youth for the Tacoma Juvenile Detention Center in Tacoma Washington USA, and Port Phillip Prison in Victoria Australia.

Nicole is a Registered Nurse and began her career at St Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne working in the Acute Rehabilitation ward caring for Post stroke trauma and cardiac patients. After returning to New Zealand ,Nicole has worked in ICU Wellington and is currently working as an Emergency Nurse at Hutt Hospital.

Nicole believes having a detailed understanding of the physical body and how it operates at a cellular level enhances your ability to practice and instruct yoga.

She is always amazed at the health benefits yoga has to offer, watching students grow in their practice and evolve in healthy lifestyle changes is her passion.

Having finished Maori Ironman in 2019, Nicole stayed injury free and focused during her training thanks to yoga.  She can’t wait to share her love for this amazing yoga.
