Originally from Shanghai, Yun started practicing yoga in 2008 while she was working in a corporate job as a professional. After years of sitting in front of a computer for long hours everyday and living a hectic life, she was very much concerned about her physical and mental health. Her yoga journey began when she tried out yoga unintentionally at a yoga studio located in the same building as her office. Not only did she see her body change during the continuous practice, she discovered that yoga brought more concentration and presence into her work. She became more efficient and productive, her life was much more regulated and balanced, and she was able to maintain a happy mood.

Constantly feeling the benefits both physically and mentally through a regular yoga practice, Yun decided to attend Bikram Yoga Teacher Training in 2010. This transformed her life and she’s been traveling and teaching Bikram globally ever since.

In 2017, Yun also trained in Inferno Hot Pilates adding this to her teaching portfolio. Being a yoga teacher brings Yun great happiness, as she connects with people by sharing the benefits of a yoga practice.
