Walk-ins are welcome but booking will ensure you have a space in class as our evening and weekend classes are often at capacity.
You can book in for class via our App or via our website below. If you are unable to attend class, please remove yourself so that someone else can take your place. Thank you for your cooperation and support.

Welcome to our studio and community!

Independently run since 2009, our mission is to provide a welcoming and supportive space to guide you through a transformative and healing yoga practice.

Here at Hot Yoga Dunedin we offer heated and non-heated yoga classes as well as Inferno Hot Pilates (a low impact, high intensity cardio workout) for all levels of students. Beginners are always welcome at any of our classes.

Practicing yoga in a heated environment increases flexibility and mobility of your body. The heat offers therapeutic benefits in revitalising the cells and tissues, and increases blood circulation. This helps to release toxins from your body via the skin.

Our heating system has been specifically engineered to ensure the consistency of the room temperature and humidity within a specific heat index, constant circulation of heated clean air helps promote perspiration and blood flow while constantly exchanging the air within the space so it is always fresh and clean.

We have a passionate team of qualified teachers offering four types of classes, we have three styles of yoga; Original Hot Yoga, Hot Flow and Yin as well as Inferno Hot Pilates. We have had heightened cleaning protocols in place since 2020 the studio is deep cleaned twice a day and the floors and key surfaces are cleaned with hospital grade products between every class. Our shared props are cleaned with sterigene after every use. Bolster covers are washed regularly.

Our heating system is equipped with a fresh air supply which extracts and supplies filtered air to the room.

If you are unwell or isolating we have some great high quality classes available online, these are free for those on their intro pass/membership or unlimited passes. Alternatively it is $15 for 31 day access. Please see the link in our menu or check our branded app.

Our Timetable

  • Our Original Hot Yoga series in a condensed class, One set (rather than two) of most postures but still the same amazing healing series. 
  • Our Flow classes are dynamic with a strong focus on synchronising breath with movement. Using well-balanced creative sequencing, classes are designed to challenge and inspire you both mentally and physically. Walk away feeling energised, balanced and light!
  • Inferno Hot Pilates is a fun, challenging, full body, low impact, high intensity workout using Pilates principles.
  • Our Flow classes are dynamic with a strong focus on synchronising breath with movement. Using well-balanced creative sequencing, classes are designed to challenge and inspire you both mentally and physically. Walk away feeling energised, balanced and light!
  • Yin yoga is a nourishing and meditative form of yoga which works deep into the connective tissues, fascia and joints. This practice involves long holds in restorative poses to unlock deeply held tension and helps balance our busy “yang” lifestyles by cultivating patience, stillness and deep relaxation.
  • 26 postures and 2 breathing exercises, practiced the same way every time in a room heated to 38 degrees. designed to detox and tone the body and the mind. Designed for beginners and those with injuries. Healing and powerful.
  • Level one of our High intensity/low impact pilates class, suitable for those wanting to refine their form and for those new to Hot Pilates 

  • Mandi completed her Mat Pilates teacher training with Stott Pilates in 2022. This knowledge - combined with her extensive experience in clinical massage bodywork, Hot pilates and yoga - comes together to deliver an 8 week course in Mat Pilates, designed to teach you the specific principles and movements of Mat Pilates.

    You will:

    - improve your postural alignment - from head to toes
    - activate, strengthen and balance your core muscles
    - gain knowledge of how to use your core to improve everyday movement patterns
    - identify and help shift/eliminate niggling problems/pains
    - take your yoga and hot pilates practice to the next level

    Expect personal alignment analysis, adjustments and tips to improve strength, balance and flexibility. Mandi is very much looking forward to sharing this new modality with the HYD community

Our Classes

We believe in making yoga accessible to everyone and offer four types of classes at our inner city studio. Our main style of yoga is the Original Hot yoga also known as Bikram yoga. We also offer dynamic Hot Flow, and the more introspective practice of Yin. Inferno Hot Pilates is a high intensity low impact workout designed to strengthen the core.
